'No Impact Man,' First a Blog, Now a Movie and... →
Fast forward two years, and a documentary has been produced about Beavan, his wife Michelle Conlin, and their daughter Isabella. Cameras followed the family throughout their challenge and the resultant film gave me a much more balanced view of the No Impact Challenge.

Eat Local Challenge
I started this today, even though for the rest of September it will be more of a trial until the actual October challenge starts. I will be blogging about this on www.foodgonewild.net but I’ll keep you posted as to when that starts - should be soon. I ate everything in site yesterday and I am jumping into this without being prepared so I am thinking it will force me to learn how things work...

Tips for eating food.
If not LOCALLY PRODUCED, then Organic. If not ORGANIC, then Family farm. If not FAMILY FARM, then Local business. If not a LOCAL BUSINESS, then Fair Trade. If all else fails, at least don’t eat at McDonald’s!
